The shift for this position is 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM Monday through Friday.


This position is responsible for the operation, trouble-shooting, and maintenance of the XEROX Monochrome/Digital Production Press and/or Color device used to produce documents from digital images via network interface with local area networks (LAN), Nearstar, or digital store front system.

  • High School Diploma or equivalent required

Work Experience

  • 2 years of experience in the printing and binding field required

Skills and Abilities

  • Must be able to lift up to 70 pounds

  • Working knowledge of how to interact and operate a Xerox Nuvera 314 printer with finisher and Xerox Freeflow front-end accurately

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint and other applicable software used within the department. These software products could include, but may not be limited to:, Publisher & Visio, Adobe Acrobat (reading and writing pdf’s), CD printing/burning software, VIPP, Pace, EFI Digital Storefront, etc.

  • Working knowledge of transferring files from drive to drive, merging documents, merging address files, data entry, etc.

  • Able to work overtime to assist in any backlog or emergency situation

  • Able to work various shifts including night shift if the workload necessitates preferred

  • Must be able to safely and independently operate punch, coil inserter, tape binder, cutter, tabletop folder, shrink wrap equipment, and other equipment as trained and requested preferred

  • Must have demonstrated experience recognizing errors, inaccurate or inconsistent information on job tickets and clarifying requirements with requester preferred

  • Must have strong interpersonal, customer service, oral and written communication skills preferred

Licenses and Certifications

  • None Required


  • Uses master originals and electronically-generated images to produce high quality printing or copies to ensure the job is printed and delivered and all corporate printing needs are fulfilled.

  • Maintains an adequate supply of paper stock, printing supplies, and machine supplies to provide on-time service.

  • Assists in data collection with the Pace Print Management System or Xerox Xear Print Management system to ensure production costs, time, and volume reports are provided to management as needed.

  • Physical effort is required to lift, hold, and carry objects up to 70 pounds occasionally.
