The Project Change Manager implements a structured methodology that fits BCBSLA and leads change management activities. Anticipates change and plays a key role in ensuring projects and change initiatives meet objectives on time and on budget by increasing employee adoption and usage. Focuses on the people side of change, including changes to business processes, systems and technology, job roles and organization structures. Works to drive faster adoption and higher ultimate utilization of and proficiency with the changes that impact employees.
Provides mentoring to staff.

This job reports to: Departmental Leadership
Necessary Contacts: In order to effectively fulfill this position the incumbent must be in contact with:
Senior Management staff and their respective direct reports frequently;
Intercompany personnel to coordinate major change initiatives;
All levels of department personnel.
Externally, work directly with consultants, other Blue Cross Blue Shield plans, regulatory agencies and strategic business partners.
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Industrial Engineering, Computer Science, Mathematics or related field is required.
Master’s degree is preferred.
Four years of related experience can be used in lieu of a Bachelor’s degree.
7 years relevant experience including five years of leadership experience required
Working knowledge of technology platforms, systems, and software and strong business acumen related to healthcare, operational, financial, and general business practices preferred.

Knowledgeable in project management approaches, tools and phases of the project lifecycle
Licenses and Certifications
- CCMP certification preferred, and/or Certification or designation from one of the change management methodologies (e.g. Prosci ADKAR) or a degree in change management is preferred
ACCOUNTABILITIES AND ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Implements a structured methodology that fits BCBSLA and lead change management activities. Design a change management process and use tools to create a strategy to support adoption of the changes required by a project or initiative
Drives the design, development, delivery and management of change communications
Leads impact analyses, assess change readiness and identify key stakeholders
Consults on document requirements and guide the design and delivery of training programs
Creates actionable deliverables for the five change management levers: communications plan, sponsor roadmap, coaching plan, training plan, resistance management plan
Advises and coach project teams, support and engage senior leaders, coach managers and supervisors
Defines and measure success metrics, monitor change progress, drive continuous improvement, and develop long term plan to sustain the change over time
Leads change management at the organizational level, and manage the change portfolio. Requires the ability to influence and manage strong relationships at the senior executive level, while also driving engagement and participation throughout the organization.
Supports organizational design and definition of roles and responsibilities
Evaluates and ensure user readiness
Integrates change management activities into project plans in collaboration with the project manager
